"The Woman in Black" is a drama horror thriller film directed by James Watkins and is based on Susan Hill's novel of the same name. A widowed lawyer, Arthur Kipps, goes to a village as he has to sell Eel Marsh House, which is situated on an island. So he visits this place to examine the papers left by dead owner - Alice Drablow. While Arthur is staying here, he's distracted by odd noises, and subsequently, the appearance of a spectral entity in funerary garb. Upon his return to the village, the locals blame the death of their children on Arthur because he saw the alleged "Woman in Black".
