"The Phantom of the Opera" is a drama musical romantic thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher and adapted from Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical of the same name, which is based on the French novel "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra" by Gaston Leroux. The story is about a spectre-like entity who lives somewhere within the opera house and is believed to be a ghost. He watches every show and one day he notices singing of beautiful Christine with who he falls in love.
