"Victor Frankenstein" is a science fiction horror drama film directed by Paul McGuigan and written by Max Landis, based on contemporary adaptations of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein. The story is told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man - and the legend - we know today.

Well, I'm not sure that I can adequately talk about what I've just seen. In a word, it's a real nightmare: awful, boring, banal and nothing interesting in "told from Igor's perspective". What do we have? Insane James McAvoy's Victor Frankenstein, Daniel Radcliffe's romantic ninny Igor and Andrew Scott's furious Roderick Turpin who always wants to shoot the scientist. Everything is so well-trodden, and even special effects, which are a complete disaster, turns out unable to improve the situation. Goodbye, my almost two hours, you're wasted.
Advantages
- James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein
- Daniel Radcliffe as Igor
- Andrew Scott as Roderick Turpin
- Charles Dance as Frankenstein
- Mark Gatiss as Dettweiler
Disadvantages

- Special effects
"Strangenesses"
- How the film with a such cast can be so awful?
