That's what we were all waiting for - the second part of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay", especially because the previous one had ended almost exactly during Coin's speech. And that's why "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2" starts right off the bat - seems a little bit disrupt but, to my mind, it doesn't make the film worse.

So what can fans and viewers see in the final part? First of all, the continuation of filming the rebels' propos, Yes, they have almost moved to the centre of the third installment and they still go on. However, propos become different this time: they transform from just filming to actual surviving as the Capitol now is full of "pods", deathtraps which are on the watch for the "Star Squad". And here go special effects: spectacular explosions, a splendid avalanche of black ooze and monstrous reptilian creatures - everything on the high level. But there is no such thing as a free lunch so visual pleasure must be paid by means of the succession of deaths. Goodbye, Commander Jackson, goodbye, Castor, and goodbye, my love, Finnick Odair. Frankly speaking, I thought to the last that differences with the book could concern that moment but, unfortunately, no - the character of gorgeous Sam Claflin dies. Sad face.

I also should mention that the love lines, which earlier have been shown quite briefly, come to a logical conclusion: the love triangle is resolved with Gale's knockout because he stays deaf to Katniss' desire to save innocent people, poor children. As a result of Hawthorne's plan Prim, the main reason of Jennifer Lawrence's character to fight for, goes to glory - so unsurprisingly Liam Hemsworth's personage falls into disgrace.

And what do we get in the upshot? President Coriolanus Snow turns out evil, of course, but then honest in contrast to President Alma Coin who is a wolf in sheep's clothing as all she wants is power, not life-saving. And that's why a viewer might feel justice when Katniss shoots an arrow at Julianne Moore's character.

As for the ending, it's quite predictable: Katniss and Peeta love each other, they have children and live somewhere in District 12. A little bit slushy, yes, but everyone who has waiting for the happy ending gets it at long last.

To sum up, I want to say the following: probably the last part won't become exactly what you expects, but once again - the finale is logically related to the first two installments. Speaking about the technical side, everything is quite acceptable: the cast does work very well, special effects and music are good as always and no plot holes - isn't that a sign of a good filmed picture?
