"Cake" was my first picture Daniel Barnz I watched. I can't say that the film really impressed me but for watching once it's pretty good. Telling the truth, I was waiting for several months to enjoy the picture, however, it went off at half-cock.

Jennifer Aniston has never been my favourite actress but her performance didn't leave me untouched. A ordinary woman with the Psychological trauma. Jennifer looked believable in every shot.

Advantages
  • Jennifer Aniston as Claire Bennett

Disadvantages
  • The boring story without the beginning and the end

"Strangenesses"
  • Living with pain for many years - probably it's time to change?

Clue Moments
  • The pool

Losing a child is so frightful for any mother. I have no idea how painful it is. Claire Bennett is able to hide this pay neither outwardly nor inwardly. She fells it every day blaming herself that caused her restraint. But probably that incident wasn't provoked by her? When she makes aware of this thought, Claire becomes free.

Cake. In my view, it embodies an experience: even when a young actress robs Bennett's house, she leaves an iced cake. This way, the main character realizes that anything bad always has something good. An experience, no matter what kind it is, is an important part of the present because without mistakes any person wouldn't have become today's.

Chronic pain is defined as pain that has lasted longer than three to six months, though some theorists and researchers have placed the transition from acute to chronic pain at 12 months. Others apply acute to pain that lasts less than 30 days, chronic to pain of more than six months duration, and subacute to pain that lasts from one to six months. A popular alternative definition of chronic pain, involving no arbitrarily fixed duration, is "pain that extends beyond the expected period of healing".

There is little evidence for treating most types of chronic pain with opioids. An exception is chronic pain due to cancer. While they may improve pain in the short term there is no evidence of improved long term pain or functioning. Risks include overdose and addiction. In the United States about 100 million people have chronic pain, with 25% of those having more or severe chronic pain.
