My love to Quentin Tarantino and his pictures is endless and limitless. I'm keen on his style which is full of humour and violence - that's him. The film captures from the beginning and keeps till the end. In a word, perfect!

The cast was the second reason why I decided to watch "Inglourious Basterds". And what can I say? Firstly, performances of all actors and actresses are on the high level. Secondly, the film is full of my favourite ones. Christoph Waltz, my love, in role of the SD Standartenführer looks as fascinating as always even in spite the fact that he's antagonist. Brad Pitt is actually excellent: all his cues are must-hear. Michael Fassbender appears on screen not for long but this time is pretty enough to fall in love with his character. Til Schweiger and Diane Agron also incomparable episodic heroes but they're really important as well. Hey, I'm in agony of utter delight, of course I'm satisfied with everything.

Quotations
* * *
Lt. Aldo Raine: Well, I speak the most Italian, so I'll be your escort. Donowitz speaks the second most, so he'll be your Italian cameraman. Omar speaks third most, so he'll be Donny's assistant.
Pfc. Omar Ulmer: I don't speak Italian.
Lt. Aldo Raine: Like I said, third best. Just keep your f*ckin' mouth shut. In fact, why don't you start practicing, right now!
* * *
Lt. Aldo Raine: You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'.
* * *
Lt. Aldo Raine: You know somethin', Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece.
* * *
Lt. Aldo Raine: I'm gonna give you a little somethin' you can't take off.
* * *
Fredrick Zoller: [to Shosanna] It's been a pleasure chatting with a fellow cinema lover.
* * *
Fredrick Zoller: Who wants to send a message to Germany?
* * *
Sgt. Donny Donowitz: After I kill that guy, you have 30 feet to get to that guy. Can you do it?
Pfc. Omar Ulmer: I have to.
* * *
General Ed Fenech: [On the Germans attending the film premeire] We have all our rotten eggs in one basket. The objective of the operation: blow up the basket.
* * *
Lt. Aldo Raine: You know, where I'm from...
Col. Hans Landa: Yeah, where is that, exactly?
Lt. Aldo Raine: Maynardville, Tennessee.
[pause]
Lt. Aldo Raine: I've done my share of bootlegging. Up 'ere, if you engage in what the federal government calls 'illegal activity,' but what we call 'just a man tryin' to make a livin' for his family sellin' moonshine liquor,' it behooves oneself to keep his wits. Long story short, we hear a story too good to be true... it ain't.
Col. Hans Landa: Sitting in your chair, I would probably say the same thing. And 999 point 999 times out of a million, you would be correct. But in the pages of history, every once in a while, fate reaches out and extends its hand.
[Landa slowly sweeps his arms out in a grand shrug]
Col. Hans Landa: What shall the history books read?
* * *
Col. Hans Landa: Wait for the crème.
