The director of "The Theory of Everything" is James Marsh. All of his films got pretty high ratings and many nominations and awards. As for "The Theory of Everything", it turned out an outstanding picture. Despite the running time, it isn't overextended: the film whips up emotions almost every minute. Personally I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

I saw Eddie Redmayne for the first time in "My Week with Marilyn" (2011) and since that time I've known that he would become a big actor. "The Theory of Everything" proved his talent completely. Frankly speaking, I'm impressed. Felicity Jones became my godsend. I can't say anything about previous works as I didn't see them but her Wilde Hawking deserves admiration.

Advantages
  • Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking
  • Felicity Jones as Jane Wilde Hawking
  • Charlie Cox as Jonathan Jones, Jane's second husband
  • Visual effects
  • Music

Disadvantages
  • More about Jane's life, not Stephen's one

"Strangenesses"
  • Jane is a real example of how strong can be woman - fantastic!

Clue Moments
  • The fall
  • The operation
  • The meeting with Jane

Stephen Hawking is one of the most influential figures in History. If we apply to Wikipedia for brief information, we can find the following. Stephen Hawking is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. Among his significant scientific works have been a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity, and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set forth a cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
Hawking is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. Hawking was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009.

Hawking has achieved success with works of popular science in which he discusses his own theories and cosmology in general. His "A Brief History of Time" stayed on the British Sunday Times best-sellers list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

Hawking suffers from a rare, early-onset, slow-progressing form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or motor neurone disease, that has gradually paralysed him over the decades. He currently communicates by using a single cheek muscle attached to a speech-generating device. Hawking married twice and has three children.

Stephen Hawking is a living example that everything is possible. Neither circumstances nor appearance are decisive of a fate. An idea, mind and loving people are main components of a happy life. This way, the ground rules are to love, help and take of close people, to develop oneself and to create. These basics make anyone happy even if a person don't pay attention to this fact. And they're wrong to think that way. Yes, stocks of materials and capital equipment are important, however their value isn't as great as intellectual one's. I accept it for a fact although anyone can disagree with me.
